All students wishing to “challenge” to the next level must be able to complete the following (with correct technique) according to their level, and with any given arms.  (There is NO demonstration.  Students must know all vocabulary).

BEG 1 Jazz:     Step Touch

                        Three step turn

                        Basic Lindy

                        Ball Changes/Step Ballchange

                        4 walks 2 step pivots R and L

                        Step Saute Passe’ Step Ball change

                        Single INSIDE pirouette

BEG 2-3 Jazz:  All of the above steps

                        Step Ball changes with arms

                        2 Step Ball change, 2 Step Pivot

                        Three Step Turns in combination with Lindies

                        Single Pirouette R and L (outside)

                        PDB with NO arms

                        Step Battements front

                        Kick BC (kick bc, kick bc kick bc, pirouette)

                        Stamp turns

INT 1-2 Jazz:  All of the above steps

                        Working on double pirouette

                        Stamp turns and chaine turns

                        1 Battement, prep single pirouette

                        Pirouette bc, pirouette bc (in sequence)

                        PDB with various arms

                        2 PDB, turn BC, turn BC

                        Parallel and turned out turns

                        Hitch Kicks

                        Chaine/pique turn combinations

                        Basic jette R and L

                        Plie chaine stage jette

INT 3 Jazz:      any of the above steps

                        SPLITS

                        Double Pirouette R and L

                        Slow PDB intoe double pirouette R and L

                        Side fan kicks

                        Battement jumps

                        Plie chaine stag jette, and stag attitude

                        Step Battement prep single, step prep double

                        Working on Triple pirouette

                        Double outside into a single inside single outside

                        Reverse stage attitudes, axel jumps

                        Fouette turns and various turning combinations
