  • The studio will be closed March 31-April 4th. Classes will resume April 7th.
  • Our 10 year anniversary show "We Are Family" is coming SOON! May 10th 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be available during Apple Blossom week at ADPA during office hours Monday through Thursday 3:30-6:00.
  • "We Are Family" T-shirts have been for sale all of March. ADPA is accepting pre-paid orders only. Last day to order is Tuesday April 8, so HURRY and get your order in now. We won't be ordering x-tras. (These can be purchased during office hours only.)
  • Now is the time that there are many questions about the upcoming show, costumes, registration, etc....Please contact the ADPA staff members at ADPA only. Please do not call them at home. ALL questions can be answered at ADPA during office hours. Thank you.
  • ORDERS for recital DVD/videos, special flower packages and rehearsal dinners will be available at the front desk shortly. For those getting your own flowers for the performance...remember that no latex is allowed at the WHS facility...Mylar balloons are acceptable.
  • COSTUMES...Several costumes have arrived. Please check the Jazz studio window...if there is a price by your classes’ costume, it is in. Please purchase these as soon as possible. Some of you have costume deposits, please double check that we have your information correct at the office and we will deduct your deposits from the total of the costumes. Please remember that costumes are GENERAL sizing, some sewing may be necessary to fit the costume to your child.
  • IMPORTANT!!!! ALL ADPA students (excluding combo classes) will need to purchase "CAPEZIO" light suntan tights or body tights. Please check with your instructor which tights you need for the performance. Combo classes, please check with your instructors on which color tights you will need for the performance. Please remember to review your ADPA dress code required shoes for class and performance.

  • All students will need to have stage make-up and have hair slicked back and in a tight bun with hairnet for the performances. Combo class students may wear their hair any way that is comfortable for them as long as it is pulled away from their faces. (Please no glitter on hair or face for the performance.)
  • Combo Class parents, make sure to put black elastic on your children’s shoes. If you have questions, please ask your instructor or at the front desk.
  • All students should put their name on all costume pieces as well as their shoes and tights. This will help the ADPA staff when trying to find the owners of lost shoes, etc.
  • RECITAL WEEK....There are no regular classes the week of and the week following recital. Make sure to look at the special rehearsal and photo schedule that accompanies this newsletter, (This will also be available at the studio and on the website.)
  • Parents: We will have a sign up sheet at the studio for "special volunteer helpers"; ADPA will need people to help backstage (for both shows) moving props etc...and also some Mom's to help work the doors, be runners and watch kids in the dressing areas.
  • When the performance is over ...please remember that there are recital photos, evaluations and the Ballet Performance. Classes will continue through May 30th for ADPA students and June 9th for School of Ballet students.
  • Be sure to keep checking at the studio for information regarding exciting fundraising events to help out National Competition Master Class Dancers.
