Katie Spurbeck
Miss Katie is currently a Junior at Eastmont High School. Katie began dancing at the Academy of Dance and Performing Arts at the age of 3 under the instruction of Miss Tracy Trotter. Throughout her time at ADPA she has studied Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe and Hip Hop.
Katie attended her first competition in Las Vegas at the age of 7 where the troupe tapped to "All Shook Up". Besides being an important member of the ADPA IMPACT Class and competition dancers, she has also been an assistant instructor in many of our beginning and intermediate classes for several years. Miss Katie has enjoyed taking a variety of workshops while attending both Regional and National competitions with ADPA. She was a part of the Tapestry in Motion Icicle Arts Summer Intensive performances along with other ADPA dancers in 2009.

This will be Katie’s first year as an ADPA student instructor. She will be teaching our beginning tap classes this Summer in addition to a few solo dances for our Solo/Small Group Competition.

Tiana Snyder
Miss Tia recently completed her junior year at Eastmont High School, as well as her freshmen year at
Wenatchee Valley College. She plans to graduate from Eastmont High School in June, 2012, while also receiving her Associates of Arts and Science Degree from Wenatchee Valley College. After graduation, Tia plans to transfer her AAS Degree to a university and double-major in Dance Performance and Arts Management.
Tia has been dancing for 12 years at ADPA, starting at the age of four. Throughout her 12 years of dance training, she has studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary/modern, hip hop, pointe, and musical theatre. She has been a part of ADPA’s Impact and Competition Team for eight years, representing the studio in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary/modern, and hip hop
dances at many regional and national competitions. Tia has also participated in workshops taught by Sonia Dawkins, and respected choreographers at competitions.
Miss Tia’s first year assisting ADPA instructors was in 2010. She is excited to work as an apprentice instructor, beginning in the summer of 2011.
ADPA is happy to have her as part of their apprentice teaching staff.
